These buildings are used for museums and various organizations, nowadays.
Famous restaurant "Petrovsky" is located inside one of the
buildings. The restaurant is called so in honour of the name of a
well-known Russian tsar Peter the First. He is assumed to be the
founder of Petrozavodsk. In year 1703 he decided to build a plant
here, which would produce cannons. The plant was erected on the bank of
a small river, called Lososinka, not far from the shore of Onego Lake.
It was built near the place, where Kirov square is situated in present days.
