Rafting up to Sizovsky rapid 125 km car trip, 3 hours (during daytime) 7 km rafting Day 2 Rafting from Sizovsky rapid to Kumio rapid (23 km) Bypassing Ignoyl'sky hydroelectric power station Kenyaykoski and Kumio rapids are examined from the bank, instructor decides whether to overcome or bypass them, depending on the group's experience 23 km rafting Day 3 Spending a day near Kumio rapid. Having rest, fishing, tourist sauna Day 4 Rafting to Shotozero lake. 29 km rafting (during daytime) Day 5 Rafting to Svyatreka river. 27 km Day 6 Rafting to Matrosy village. Note1: The price may be changed by our company and depends on the cost of hiring the rafting equipment The price includes: transport services according to the program, three meals a day (according to the programme), hire of the necessary equipment, accompanying personnel (instructors, driver), tourist sauna (active part of the tour), insurance The price excludes: interpreter's services, tickets to / from Petrozavodsk city Note2: In case of some unpredictable circumstances, some of the services included into the tour programme may be changed by other services, equal in price. Note4: The possibility of the tour (i.e. days and dates of operation) depends upon weather Rafting gear and equipment: Rafts (motor-rafts) - boats specifically designed for river rafting; very secure vessels resulting from using numerous layers of protective materials. Motor-rafts are equipped with outboard engines. Boat engines: 5 horsepower, used for crossing calm lake waters. Oars, life jackets, tow-ropes, helmets: tested and comfortable in use gear. Camp gear: 3 / 4 - man tents. 2-man tents can be arranged, also. Warmth-saving ground mats are provided together with each tent. Sleeping bags - temperature level is optimal for the time of the year. If you decide to bring your own sleeping bag, please, contact us in advance. Eating utensils - please, bring your own eating utensils. In the meantime, cauldron, trays and other additional cooking equipment will be provided. Food on the tour: Full board. Depending on tour itinerary lunch may be replaced by simple snacks. Food is prepared by the tour guide. Menu includes fresh vegetables and soups. Security measures: Danger of river rapids changes depending on water level. Instructor is entitled to make decisions on crossing or bypassing dangerous rapids, as well as decisions on disallowing those, who are unprepared or intoxicated, from taking part. It is mandatory to wear life jackets while on board. On dangerous river parts, participants are required to wear helmets. Every group member is insured in case of accident. Physical activities: Most of our outdoor and motor-rafting tours do not require special physical training. Rowing along calm waters is not necessary since each vehicle is equipped with a motor engine. However, you have to be prepared for using your own oar during rowing along river rapids - this is the main condition for raft steering. Additional items may be needed:
