The petroglyphs of the White Sea are similar with the ones
of Onego Lake, to some extent. But, at the same time, they have got bright
individual features which reflect local conditions of the life of the ancient
people who lived near the White Sea and their vision of the world. Here we can
find an original tradition of development of monumental drawing art. It seems
that the creation of the stone images had begun with single big figures. There
are no solar and lunar signs among these figures. The supernatural
aspect is less important than in the images of Onego Lake.

Some boats are empty. Style and construction of the
boats differ from the features of boats among petroglyphs of Onego Lake. But,
probably, the main thing is that there are a lot of images of people among
the stone canvases of the White Sea.
